VIDEO: Bob Marley & The Wailers “Stir It Up” (Live)

Was reading an excellent story in GQ Magazine’s January 2011 issue by John Jeremiah Sullivan about his traveling to Jamaica to find Bunny Wailer, the last living member of the original Wailers (the precursor to Bob Marley & The Wailers). The story recommends the above clip—a live performance of “Stir It Up” on BBC show The Old Grey Whistle Test in 1973—for those unfamiliar.

Bunny Wailer (sporting a fez) is to Robert Nesta Marley’s left while Peter Tosh is on his right rocking a purple sweater and sunglasses looking spectacularly fresh. In the clip below the group performs “Concrete Jungle” on the same show. Greatness.
